Yoga

Yoga is for EVERYONE, it opens the eyes and opens the soul. You don't need to be flexible or sporty to enjoy the endless benefits of practicing yoga.

There are so many forms of yoga there will be a type of practice perfect for what you are looking for. Check out the class descriptions. 

Beginners Yoga

This class is perfect is you are brand new to yoga or would like to become more familiar with asana that is used in other classes.

 

This is a very adaptable class, slow flowing with lots of focus on alignment and breath work (Pranayama.)

 

Each week we take a theme and explore poses that relate. You will become familiar with Sun Salutations and understand how to do and get the most out of your Downward DogsStanding Poses, Balances, Backbends and more! 

 

A great way to unwind from the day and gently awaken the body and breath.

Foundations Yoga

I teach this class at Falmouth Yoga Space. Designed by Keren Cooksey, this series of classes is ideal for beginners and improvers who want to focus on the foundations of a vinyasa flow practice.

Each week we dive into the principles of key poses in the following themes which make up a vinyasa flow class:

Sun Salutations

Standing Poses

Balances

Revolved Poses

Backbends

Forward Folds and Twists

Full slow moving Vinyasa Flow class.

The series of 7 classes repeats.

Unique Yoga Sessions

 

1 -1  or 1-2 Private Sessions:  A bespoke practice that unique to your requirements.

Couples Yoga : designed to offer a shared experience to connect in breath and body. No previous yoga experience required.

Group Yoga : Try something unique by having a 90 minutes yoga session as part of your holiday or celebrations. Move the body, explore the breath and have a giggle. 

Restorative Yoga

Taking rest is radical. This class uses fully supported poses with props such as blankets and bolsters to find deep relaxation and release. Poses are held for between 3 and 10 minutes to allow for radical rest and to calm the mind.

Meditation, Pranayama breathing pracices and sometimes Mantra is used in this class.

Wear warm clothing for this practice of nourishment. 

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a much slower and stiller class. Yin is designed to work and release the deep connective tissues and muscles of the body. We hold poses for a longer amount of time (between 2 and 6 minutes) and so this can be a beautifully meditative practice.
